So I want to share this casual look and how was a day on my winter vacations, that day I was really desperately in need of some sun, just a tiny ray would have been nice, but oh no it was very cloudy, dark and cold.
I was missing the sunny days
Just like the name of my blog suggest, I love summer and warm weathers, I thought I could handle the cold, but that day I decided to wear a very cute pink dress, is very lightweight I wore it with white pantyhose, but it didn’t keep me warm at all, I even wore a light pink cardigan and a sweater my mom made me, which I love a lot. That day I was feeling much like Andie Walsh from Pretty in pink ✨
Patas chuecas
I wear saddle shoes which I love a lot because of the short heel and because it looks elegant and casual at the same time. This are the perfect vintage shoes!
Thanks for filters that make the illusion of sun light!
So this is a very casual look I do when I’m home or just going out to do something fun. That day I went out with my family to the movies.
For the makeup just a light shadow on the lid, neutral crease color and a very small wing eyeline, I filled my brows with red color but very lightly, put some bronzer, blush and highlighter, and finally pink lipstick to match the outfit.
Regularly I don’t like straight hair, I only leave it straight when I wash it because it feels refreshing, I just brush it and put a bandana to look more cute 😜
Some of my favorite cosmetics
Right now I only have Bahama Mama Bronzer and Cabana Boy Blush, I don’t feel the need to get more bronzers and blushes, this work wonderful, and also my favorite highlighter is the Bonnie-Lou Manizer it gives me this nice gold shimmer that last a long time. Some other favorites are Kat Von D Tattoo liner and Manic Panic Hot Hot Hot Lethal Lipstick, my favorite pink lipstick I use at the moment.
The monster of Frankenstein
I was reading the most exciting part of Frankenstein, which is when Victor Frankenstein travels with his friend Henry Clerval, I don’t want to spoil anything if you haven’t read the book, but I think that is the part I just wanted to keep reading and I really enjoy the description Victor wrote about all the countries they visited.
By now I have finished reading the book, I want to have wise words to tell how great this book is, how it will blow your mind but words are not enough to describe it, you have to read it, you have to suffer with Victor Frankenstein and the monster he created to understand the true horror, to really dread what is natural to life, the death and the worst of all the death of our dear ones. I think this book is horrifying in so many aspects. Mary Shelley is the true master of horror, and considering the little I know about her life I think she reflected her feelings in this masterpiece.
One aspect that stick to me is the inability to connect, both Victor and his monster suffer, we understand the horrible suffer of Victor, we read it from his words but we don’t know about the monster’s true feelings, what gives me the chills is to imagine his great pain, how lonely he was, and that I can relate to, we can all relate to, we are all alone with our feelings. Both characters suffered, they immersed in their own pain, they went on this horrible chase of hate, that would have not started if Victor had took care of his monster, or even if they pause in the middle of this chase and wonder about the other ones feelings, this was impossible.
The book has many different meanings, please read it I’m sure you will give your own meanings to what this book tells you 💚
